Sareum has reported its FY26 results for the year ended 30 June 2026. Operating losses widened to £3.7m from £3.4m, while the narrower pre-tax loss of £3.5m (FY25: £4.9m) largely reflected non-cash warrant revaluations. Period-end cash stood at £1.2m, subsequently bolstered by the c £3.3m equity raise in October 2026, although the discounted issue price and attached warrants highlight ongoing dilution pressures.
Operationally, SDC-1801 remains the priority, with Phase II readiness now targeted for mid-CY27 (previously end-CY26). Dosing in the Phase II-enabling toxicology programme is complete, with top-line results expected in Q426. Formulation optimisation and a short pharmacokinetic study remain outstanding. The peer-reviewed Phase I dataset supports once-daily dosing and sustained TYK2/JAK1 target engagement.
Sareum continues to seek partnering opportunities for SDC-1802 and SRA737. Translational work on SDC-1802 is complete, with potential clinical development focused on acute lymphoblastic leukaemia and selected lymphomas. SRA737 retains an active US investigational new drug application and US patent protection until March 2043.
We view the recent financing as supporting Phase II readiness, although funding subsequent clinical development will likely require partnering or additional capital. Management expects cash resources to cover at least 12 months from approval of the accounts, with cost savings if necessary. Toxicology results and partnering progress remain the principal near-term value drivers.
