Newron’s H126 update confirms that the pivotal evenamide programme remains on track: ENIGMA-TRS 1 has completed screening, with enrolment of at least 600 patients expected around mid-October and 12-week top-line data expected in Q127. For ENIGMA-TRS 2, enrolment continues outside the US and, following the constructive Type A meeting with the FDA in July, management remains confident that US centres will resume enrolling in the near future once the discussed changes are implemented. H126 revenue was €3.2m (H125: €11.9m), while R&D spend increased to €14.6m (€6.1m) as Phase III activity accelerated, resulting in a €16.4m net loss. Cash and current financial assets stood at €32.9m at end-June 2026, with a further c €11m added post period from the financing tranche and EA Pharma milestone; importantly, management expects available cash resources to fund operations through most of 2027 and therefore beyond the 12-week readouts from both ENIGMA-TRS studies.
