CHOSA Oncology has secured an agreement with a CLIA certified laboratory to develop and validate Platin-DRP, its test designed to identify lung cancer patients most likely to benefit from platinum chemotherapy. The company targets first US revenues in summer 2027, subject to successful validation, with management forecasting 300 to 500 tests sold in the first year.
The agreement builds on results from an 82 patient analysis of the Phase III SPLENDOUR trial, where higher Platin-DRP scores were associated with median overall survival of 16.9 months versus 5.5 months for lower scores. Further clinical evidence is expected in Q127 from CHOSA’s collaboration with Mount Sinai, which is assessing the test in patients receiving platinum chemotherapy alongside immunotherapy.
