Aamal Company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Aamal Medical, has signed an agreement with Leo Cancer Care to become the exclusive distributor of its upright radiotherapy technologies across the Middle East and North Africa. The agreement broadens its specialist medical equipment portfolio and provides scope to develop regional sales beyond its established Qatari business.
Leo Cancer Care’s technology positions patients upright while keeping the treatment beam fixed. Its Marie solution for particle therapy has received FDA 510(k) clearance and CE marking, with initial patient treatments completed. Its Grace photon therapy solution remains under development.
Management sees the partnership as an opportunity to expand its oncology offering and build relationships with healthcare providers considering upright radiotherapy. This supports Aamal’s strategy of developing its healthcare operations through international partnerships. The announcement provides no contract value, orders or guidance on the timing and scale of revenue. We view the agreement as an extension of Aamal Medical’s commercial opportunity, with the financial contribution dependent on customer adoption and conversion into equipment sales.
