VinFast (NASDAQ: VFS) and GSM have announced a series of senior leadership changes as responsibilities transition to a younger generation of leaders across the Vingroup ecosystem. Pham Nhat Quan Anh, currently Chairman of VinFast Global, will also become CEO of VinFast Global, succeeding Pham Nhat Vuong, while concurrently assuming the roles of Chairman and CEO of VinFast Vietnam. He will have ultimate responsibility for VinFast’s operations globally. At GSM, Nguyen Quoc Tuan will become Chairman of GSM Global, succeeding Pham Thu Huong, while Pham Nhat Minh Hoang will become CEO of GSM Global and concurrently CEO of GSM Vietnam.
Management stated that the changes reflect the requirements of VinFast and GSM’s next phase of development as both businesses expand internationally. VinFast currently operates in 16 countries and manufactures electric cars and motorcycles at four facilities across Vietnam, Indonesia and India, while GSM operates its Green SM mobility brand in seven countries and plans to enter at least three additional markets during 2026. GSM is also targeting a transition into a globally scaled public company with a listing on an international stock exchange.
