Theon has announced that it has been awarded various contracts for a total value of c €50m from European and Middle Eastern countries, with deliveries expected to commence this year. This includes an award for the supply of its NYX night-vision goggles and ORION fused goggles to a European NATO member state, which represents a first major contract award for the ORION fused goggles from a western European end user. The company regards this is a significant step in the context of the THEON NEXT initiative to develop a European, fully interconnected future-soldier vision system. KAPPA have received orders for various land and sea applications for a high-single-digit million amount in total, and remaining order awards included in the €50m represent a mix of man-portable products and reflect Theon’s expectation earlier this year that a reprioritisation towards land-forces equipment is materialising.
Theon continues to expect demand to accelerate in Q426 and into early 2027, noting that demand indicators across the board point in the right direction. With Theon’s selection across several other higher-value contracts and options, it expects to deliver strong last Q426/Q127 (depending on approval processes by several governments) order intake. The company reiterates that it continues to remain conservative in its approach.
