Newron Pharmaceuticals (SIX: NWRN) improves funding visibility ahead of pivotal readout
Published by Arron Aatkar, PhD

Newron Pharmaceuticals has secured the second tranche, comprising €5.5m, of its €38m equity financing (first announced in February 2026), through the issuance of 433,070 new shares, taking gross proceeds subscribed to date by the investor group to c €20.5m. A further €5.5m tranche is expected by 30 November 2026, while the remaining €12m is conditional on positive ENIGMA-TRS results; overall, the financing is expected to fund the global Phase III programme and extend Newron’s cash runway beyond the pivotal 12-week readout. With screening for ENIGMA-TRS 1 now complete and 12-week results expected in Q127, we view the latest subscription as further reducing near-term financing risk ahead of this key clinical catalyst.
