Richard Staveley, lead fund manager at Rockwood Strategic

Richard Staveley is a seasoned equity investor with over 25 years of experience. A qualified chartered accountant, he began his career at PwC before moving into fund management roles at Bradshaw Asset Management and Société Générale, where he became head of UK small companies. He co-founded River and Mercantile Asset Management in 2006, later joining Majedie and then Gresham House in 2019 to manage small company funds. In 2021, after Harwood Capital took over the management of Gresham House Strategic (renamed Rockwood Strategic), Richard was re-appointed as lead fund manager.
