Avon Rubber started working with Edison in 2009, following the appointment of a new executive team. At that stage Avon was only covered by the house broker and management had a number of legacy issues to resolve before setting out to execute a sustainable growth strategy. Edison’s research clearly laid out management’s strategy to reposition the business and subsequently measured progress against the plan to ensure investors had a clear understanding of the transition from turnaround to growth.

Following a change in management team in early 2017, we updated our investor messaging to provide greater clarity of both our strategic direction and a greater focus on the opportunities for growth from our diversified product offering across our 2 divisions, Avon Protection and milkrite | InterPuls. Edison have supported the communication of our revised strategy to investors through their detailed research notes that have very clearly laid out the updated strategy as well as providing a full explanation of the new and enhanced product portfolio together with tracking and commenting on our delivery against the updated strategy. In the post MiFID 2 world, Edison play a critical role in making research freely available to a wide audience.
