This month, the investment companies team collaborated with the healthcare team to release a thematic piece and podcast on healthcare and biotech investment companies. We also updated investors on The Bankers Investment Trust (BNKR), where the manager has streamlined the portfolio from around 170 to 100 holdings, focusing on the best ideas across global markets. Partners Group Private Equity (PGPE) benefited from a solid activity in terms of trade sales and IPOs this year, including the exits of SRS Distribution and Techem, as well as IPOs of Galderma and KinderCare. Henderson Far East Income (HFEL) has repositioned towards structural growth opportunities while protecting income, improving performance. VietNam Holding (VNH) achieved a 27.3% NAV per share TR over the past year (outperforming the Vietnam All Share Index at 20.6%), while VinaCapital Vietnam Opportunity Fund (VOF) delivered a 9.1% sterling NAV TR over the year to October 2024, driven by Vietnam’s robust GDP and corporate earnings growth.
