Smiths News (LSE: SNWS) – Appoints new CFO

Today, Smiths News announced that it has appointed Richard Clay as its new CFO to replace Paul Baker, who had previously announced his intention to leave the group. Richard joins Smiths from integrated mobility solutions provider ZIGUP, where he was interim CFO and the UK&I group finance director. He has held a variety of relevant roles in the seven years he has been at ZIGUP. Previously, Richard held several FD and CFO roles within Barclays Business and Corporate Banking Divisions having qualified as an accountant with Deloitte.
