Racura Oncology, per its latest quarterly cash flow report for Q127, ended the September 2026 quarter with A$30.7m in cash, down from A$34.3m at end-June following A$3.5m of net operating cash outflows. Management expects existing cash to fund committed activities into mid-2028.
Both Phase I combination trials of RC220 cleared their initial dose cohorts without dose limiting toxicities. In the HARNESS lung cancer trial, the first two patients receiving RC220 alongside osimertinib (a targeted cancer therapy) showed no treatment-related safety concerns at 50mg/m², allowing escalation to 100mg/m² in October. The Cardioprotection and Anticancer Synergy (CPACS) trial, combining RC220 with the chemotherapy drug doxorubicin, also advanced to its next dose level and expanded recruitment into South Korea.
R&D accounted for A$2.7m of quarterly cash payments, with a further A$0.2m spent on manufacturing and operating costs. Additional Australian trial site approvals should support HARNESS recruitment, while preclinical findings accepted for presentation in Singapore provide further support for RC220’s proposed inhibition of MYC (a gene involved in cancer growth).
