Electro Optic Systems (ASX: EOS) announces US$45m order win
Published by Jonathan Day

On 13 March, Electro Optic Systems (EOS) announced it has won US$45m (c A$64m) of counter-drone orders, comprising US$42m (c A$59m) for its Slinger Remote Weapons System from an established Middle East client and a US$3m (c A$5m) order from a US customer for integration into a counter-drone weapons system. The orders are expected to be fulfilled during 2026, with the delivery programme for the larger order potentially requiring EOS to reassess 2026 and 2027 production schedules. Discussions about potential future orders with Middle East clients are ongoing, although EOS states that there is no guarantee of future orders.

For context, c A$64m of order wins equates to c 28% of FY26e consensus revenues of A$224m and likely supports the 18% share price gain on the day.

If EOS follows a similar reporting pattern to 2025, its Q126 results are expected around the end of April or beginning of May 2026.
