Creo Medical has announced that its Speedboat device has been used at The London Clinic to perform an endoscopic submucosal dissection in colorectal cancer patients, marking the first use of the technology within a private healthcare setting, beyond its established footprint in public hospital systems. Speedboat is Creo’s flagship minimally invasive electrosurgical device, approved for use in both upper and lower gastrointestinal procedures across the US and Europe.

Strategically, we view this development as encouraging. It reflects growing momentum behind organ-preserving techniques and reinforces the clinical relevance of Creo’s technology in improving patient outcomes. Entry into private markets also expands the company’s addressable opportunity and creates additional avenues for revenue generation.

This announcement follows the recent Q126 trading update, where core device revenues grew strongly (+60% y-o-y), with management reiterating FY26 revenue growth guidance of 40–60%. The company also anticipates a further c 15% reduction in operating costs, driven by ongoing cost optimisation initiatives.
