Milosz Papst of Edison Group is quoted in an Investors’ Chronicle article examining Vietnam’s three investment trusts – VietNam Holding, Vietnam Enterprise Investments and Vietnam Opportunity Fund – and the country’s economic landscape. He notes that Vietnam is unlikely to be unscathed by the war in Iran as “Vietnam is vulnerable because they don’t have very extensive strategic reserves of petrol.” The depth of the impact on Vietnamese companies will depend on how long the war continues.
