Executive Interview – Azonto Petroleum

Azonto is an ASX- and AIM-listed company with assets in Côte D’Ivoire and Ghana, West Africa. It is currently progressing development of the Gazelle gas condensate field in partnership with Vitol.

In this video, CEO Rob Shepherd outlines the main challenges Azonto faces between now and a potential FID decision on its Gazelle gas development in Côte d’Ivoire in Q414. This is followed by a review of the various drilling opportunities available to Azonto across its acreage in both Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana. In Côte d’Ivoire, Rob looks at the criteria to determine the next drill targets on the CI-202 block and the possible well timings around this, and concludes with an update on the progress on the Accra block in Ghana, summarising the status of farm-out discussions and possible drill options.
