Job Title: Investor Relations Associate

Reporting to: Managing Director, European Strategic Investor Relations

Office hours: 8.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday

The heart of Edison is our world renowned equity research platform and deep multi-sector expertise. At Edison Investment Research, our research is widely read by international investors, advisors and stakeholders. Edison Advisors leverages our core research platform to provide differentiated services including investor relations and strategic consulting.

The team: We organise our teams by sector, looking to develop global domain expertise in sector niches over time. There is a strong team ethos, with Edison staff and consultants working together and supporting each other. We have a team of 100, of which 60 are on the research side of the business. Edison has a team of 20 senior analysts who report to the MD of Content & Client Strategy. Each of these senior analysts then manage a team of associates, part time analysts and freelance analysts.

Job summary: Edison Group is a content-led investor relations (IR) business that develops a bespoke strategy with each corporate client to raise its profile with investors. The IR team conducts all investor-facing work including the planning and execution of non-deal roadshows, events, conferences, perception surveys, investor feedback and targeted research outreach. The IR team is looking for an IR Associate to provide support in engagement with both clients and investors.

The successful candidate will work closely with the team to help manage and execute comprehensive investor relations strategies. They will arrange and attend client meetings and conduct research on existing and prospective clients. In addition, they will provide the team with administrative support to ensure efficient organisation of their programme of client events. The candidate will need excellent communication skills. The role is full-time and based in London, although as the candidate develops there may be opportunities for periodic secondments to other Edison offices in Frankfurt and New York.
