1Spatial (LSE: SPA) – SaaS transition continues with promising progress despite US market sluggishness
Published by Dan Ridsdale

1Spatial’s AGM statement highlights a return to more normal activity levels in the UK, although decision-making in the US remains slow. In the UK, the company has secured new contracts at Heathrow Airport (in partnership with Esri) and expanded engagements with Yorkshire Water, the Environment Agency and Network Rail. Proof-of-concept projects for its 1Streetworks SaaS solution are progressing well and a major renewal with UK Power Networks is nearing approval. The company’s substantial €9m service contract in Belgium is also on track.

While US procurement cycles remain sluggish, 1Spatial has secured a four-year, $1m renewal with the State of Montana for its NG 9-1-1 software. Reflecting its investment in sales and marketing, the statement notes encouraging levels of customer engagement. We are maintaining our estimates, with continued growth in software and SaaS expected to drive recurring revenue and margin expansion.
