Neil grew up in Kenya, graduated from the London School of Economics with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics. Neil started his career at Price Waterhouse in 1994 in the banking, capital markets and treasury tax team. In 1997 he joined the pan-European research team at Goldman Sachs, covering construction and building materials. He left Goldman Sachs in 2003 to set up Tusker Capital, a long/short hedge fund.

Neil joined Edison Research in January 2005 after being meeting and being interviewed by Edison’s founder Fraser Thorne. Fraser and Neil have grown Edison Group into a global value proposition over the past two decades.
