Mike Kerley – fund manager, Janus Henderson Investors

Mike has managed Pacific equities since joining Henderson in 2004 and managed Henderson Far East Income since 2007. Additionally, he is co-manager of the Janus Henderson Asian Dividend Income strategy. Previously, he was director of Pacific Basin equities at ISIS Asset Management and worked at Invesco Asset Management.
Mike attended the London Business School, where he studied investment management. He has managed money in the Asia-Pacific region since 1993 and has 36 years of financial industry experience.

Joe Bauernfreund – CEO and chief investment officer, Asset Value Investors

Joe is the manager of AVI Global Trust and AVI Japan Opportunity Trust and responsible for all investment decisions across AVI’s strategies. He has over 24 years of experience in the finance industry. Before joining AVI in 2002, Joe worked for six years at a real estate investment organisation in London. He has a Master’s in Finance from the London Business School.

Alasdair McKinnon – manager, Scottish Investment Trust

Alasdair has 21 years of diverse global investment experience and a distinctly contrarian investment philosophy. He and his team take a highly active, differentiated approach to investment.

Alasdair has an MA (Hons) in Economic & Social History from the University of Edinburgh and an MSc in Investment Analysis (with distinction) from Stirling University. He is a CFA charter holder and an Associate of the UK Society of Investment Professionals.
