Ovanti – executive interview

In this video, we interview Peter Maher, CEO of Ovanti US. Peter describes the opportunity identified to service the large proportion of the US population that struggles to access credit based on traditional credit scoring methods. The business has developed an innovative ‘buy now, pay later’ (BNPL) model called Flote, which is based on open banking and cash flow analysis to assess consumer affordability. Peter outlines the plan to launch the Flote service, including the revenue model, how it plans to work with partners and the target consumer and merchant segments. He discusses the innovative funding model the business plans to use and the recent news that Ovanti US has signed a letter of intent to merge with the special purpose acquisition company Miluna in the US.

Ovanti is an ASX-listed company focused on fintech in South-East Asia. The company plans to enter the US BNPL market and has set up Ovanti US to develop and launch the service (Flote).
