Nano Dimension – executive interview

Nano Dimension offers equipment for additive manufacture of high-performance electronic devices, complex 3D ceramic and metal objects as well as miniature parts requiring a resolution of only one micron. It also offers complementary equipment for automated assembly of electronic devices and PCBs.

Chairman and CEO Yoav Stern explains how additive manufacturing differs from conventional manufacturing techniques and how Nano Dimension is creating differentiated solutions for making high-performance electronic devices and precision parts. Importantly, Nano Dimension’s expertise in both 3D printing technology and material development enables its 3D printers to make parts of the quality required to break into the mass production market. Director of corporate development Julien Lederman describes how management is building a portfolio of additive manufacturing companies serving the same customer base, while embedding proprietary artificial intelligence technology across the portfolio to enhance manufacturing efficiency. He notes that more realistic valuation expectations should accelerate the scale and pace of acquisitions.
