Published on 15 December 2016

Thoughtonomy is a software company which provides a SaaS based virtual workforce to automate work that would normally have been performed by human workers. The software automates the ways in which humans interact with technology to complete a wide range of operational and support processes quickly, cost effectively and reliably.

Speaking a part of Edison’s recent Artificial Intelligence and Robotic Process Automation event, Thoughtonomy’s CEO Terry Walby introduces the company and its virtual workforce solution. He explains the range of applications for Thoughtonomy’s Software as a Service (SaaS) platform, and which sectors are likely to be beneficiaries of this rapidly improving technology. Terry also clarifies the differences between Robotic Process Automation and Artificial Intelligence, and how the two differing types of technology can be used together to automate more complicated tasks.
