Fluence is a global supplier of water and wastewater treatment solutions. It was formed in 2017 from the merger of RWL Water and technology start-up Emefcy and is currently listed on the ASX. It undertakes custom engineering projects for industrial and municipal customers, but its strategic focus is on its decentralised smart product solutions (SPS) which are based on its proprietary MABR technology. It expects SPS revenue to ‘at least’ double in 2019 as growth accelerates, particularly in China.
In this video, Fluence’s managing director and CEO, Henry Charrabé, explains how the company’s differentiated technology dramatically reduces energy consumption for its customers, and is driving growth as well as improving margins.
