Aquis Exchange is a disruptor to the traditional exchange model. In this interview, CEO Alasdair Haynes discusses the Aquis value proposition and his ‘eureka’ moment of coming up with the subscription model. We ask Alasdair about the recent interims, where progress was shown on many fronts, and his plans for NEX Exchange, which Aquis recently acquired. Given our focus on liquidity for small- and mid-cap stocks, we asked Alasdair how he thinks Aquis could help SME issuers with their liquidity issues, which have become a focus since Neil Woodford gated his fund.
