The Digital Novel Coronavirus Investment Forum (NCIF) is a forward-looking analysis of the revolution in healthcare caused by the pandemic and the consequent exciting drive for innovation in the life sciences, healthtech and digital sectors. The virtual NCIF conference takes place on 7–9 July with the main programme spread across three days. It will include more than 10 hours of high-level speeches and panel discussions. In addition, there will be a global company showcase of 40+ presentations by corporates, offering innovative solutions, and looking for capital and partnerships.

The emerging technologies companies showcase features either five- or 10-minute pre-recorded presentations available on the event’s portal. Confirmed Silver Sponsor is EIT Health, an EU agency mandated to support early-stage innovation in healthcare, which will present around 20 of its companies as part of the showcase. Confirmed Bronze Sponsor is State of Vaud, highlighting investment opportunities in the region with additional support from Biopôle and Innovaud, which showcase at least 10 of their companies. For the digital event, we are using the online meeting system, which will facilitate the interaction of entrepreneurs with potential partners and investors.​

How to participate

For the event we will be using two platforms: the online meeting system (Meeting Mojo) designed for one-to-one meetings and the event’s portal, where you can find all information related to the event and view live events including showcases. The online meeting system will open on 29 June for building profiles and sending meeting invites. Meetings will take place from 6 to 10 July between 08.00 and 20.00 (GMT +2). The system will allow you to make a secure audio/video call, as well as the option to present slides using a screen-sharing function. Meetings will last for 30 minutes.

Free access to view panel discussions and presentations is provided to all participants. This will allow us to increase the size of the audience and provide a higher level of exposure for participating companies.

Complimentary premium online meeting system access will be provided for qualified institutional (buy/sell side), private equity and venture investors, and for partnering & licensing executives representing global pharma. The number of passes is limited and priority is given to regular participants. However, the organiser has the discretion to reject passes. Other participants will receive complimentary listing of their profiles on the online meeting system, including one invitation free of charge. If a company is interested in a higher level of exposure, they may consider purchasing basic, advanced and premium online meeting system access with the option of a pre-recorded showcase presentation. The number of meeting invitations defines how many requests can be sent. If a meeting invitation is declined, you will receive an invitation credit that can be reused. The number of invitations does not restrict how many meeting invitations you can receive.

Enquiries about presenting and sponsoring

Presenting at the forum offers excellent opportunities to showcase your company to some of the leading global investors and corporates. It will give you the chance to communicate your projected capital-raising plans or simply help you to find the right partner for your business. Presenting companies from Europe, the US, China and Israel will benefit from specially designed panels and keynote speeches from leading industry figures, as well as access to some of the leading analysts and investors from Europe and beyond.

For those interested in joining the companies showcase there is an option to purchase either a five- or 10-minute presentation, which will be pre-recorded in advance and available to all registered attendees before, during and after the conference on the event’s portal. There is also a limited number of 20-minute presentations with contributing supporters branding, which will be pre-recorded and broadcast live during the main programme on 9 July. The Sachs team can assist with prerecording the presentation or you can upload your own video. Interested viewers will be able to send a message or request a meeting with you using the online meeting system.

For those who interested in a higher level of exposure, we suggest becoming an event sponsor. Sponsorship packages are specifically designed for each client and in addition to sponsor branding could include delegate passes with premium online meeting system access, a speaking or co-chairing opportunity as part of the programme, keynote or three-minute advertisement shown between the panels, and discounts for clients or the option to nominate them for the showcase.
