Stobart Group (STOB); to undertake detailed capital review to optimise returns

Stobart’s capital review reports that commercial agreements with Ryanair and EasyJet, among other airline partners, should help Stobart Aviation achieve its target of 5 million passengers from 2022 at £10 EBITDA per passenger.
In addition, investment opportunities including building, owning and operating renewable energy plants for generation of long-term sustainable operating cash flows are being evaluated by Stobart Energy.
The group has already disposed of non-strategic assets to the tune of £105m since March 2017. Further disposal of its remaining non-strategic assets to fund value-creating opportunities, Board has decided to reduce total dividend paid in this year to 15p against 16.5p per share last year.
