Tirth Patel is an investor relations professional with a keen interest in healthcare given his academic background in neuroscience. Tirth’s expertise is in corporate strategy including milestone and volatile scenario planning, investor communications, healthcare specialist fund marketing, and the organization of KOL (key opinion leader) events, conferences and non-deal roadshows.
Joe Green has over 8 years of experience in investor relations, focusing primarily on the healthcare sector. Joe began his career at Porter, LeVay & Rose as a generalist in investor relations. Joe then joined The Ruth Group (TRG) three years later, to specialize in investor relations for healthcare companies. Joe has extensive buy-side, sell-side and advisory networks in the U.S., and supports Edison clients in all aspects of investor marketing and client management.
Andrew Gibson joined Edison in March 2017, after spending several years at In the Field Global, a public affairs and communications firm. His focus was the design and distribution of data-backed strategic messaging for US political campaigns. He has previous experience at a hedge fund and spent time working at a national security-focused think tank. Andrew attended New York University, where he majored in politics and minored in economics.
Steele Sutphin joined Edison’s investor relations team from PepsiCo, where she worked as a financial analyst on the Mountain Dew and Amp Energy brands. Prior to PepsiCo, Steele attended Cox School of Business (part of Southern Methodist University), where she achieved a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, as well as several notable community service accolades.
Tom Caden is an IR professional with specialist knowledge of retail brokers and smaller institutions in the USA. Tom specializes in booking targeted roadshows at this niche investor audience,important to increase liquidity for smaller cap companies, as well as ensure consistency of message to retail for larger cap companies.
Jen Zimmons is an experienced investor relations professional focused on roadshow management and execution. Jen has extensive experience marketing small cap companies to U.S. investors, including family offices. Jen was recently appointed a two-year term as board advisor to a leading international-focused, emerging markets family office/buy-side fund based in Washington, DC. She holds an MBA from American University, a PhD from Texas Tech University and a BA from Marymount University.
Sydney Armstrong is a 2017 graduate of Texas Christian University with a BFA in ballet and has been dancing professionally since her recent move to New York. Her other roles include working as a personal assistant for local TV station KCDO-TV in Denver, a scheduler and personal assistant for NTA Life Insurance and as an emergency medical technician in Dallas.
IR Team: Europe
Rachel Carroll is a senior investment professional with seventeen years of industry experience raising equity, debt and Government funding across the health care, technology and property sectors. Rachel raised over $350 million in equity finance for a $1 billion NASDAQ-listed technology company in New York as Vice President of Corporate Communications, and has participated in over one hundred deals for early stage biotech, life sciences and technology companies as an equity salesperson for a global investment bank in London. Rachel speaks three languages and has a BSc (Hons) from Warwick Business School.
Elliott Berstock joined the company from Capital Access Group, where he was an associate director of investor relations and joint head of the corporate access team. Having begun his finance career as an accountant at Grant Thornton, Elliott has over 10 years of experience in capital markets and advising companies on corporate governance and IR related activities. Elliott has a wealth of knowledge in promoting companies to a wide range of investors both in the UK and Europe. He had also been involved in numerous primary and secondary corporate issues during his career. Elliott gained an advanced diploma in the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and is studying towards the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He has a degree in accounting and fiscal studies and a Masters in Law.
Alex Hayde joined the company from Capital Access Group, where he was an associate director of investor relations and joint head of the corporate access team. Having begun his finance career as a stockbroker at ASB Securities in New Zealand, Alex has over six years of experience in capital markets, with a passion for customer service. After winning a number of service awards, he took an opportunity to join the ASB Financial News team on the TV3 nightly bulletin slot. Alex has a degree in Business from Massey University, majoring in Finance, and enjoys playing rugby and cricket, and travelling where possible.
Chris West joined Edison from a previous post in Mexico, where he was working as a business development manager for the Biosfera Cuicatlán Foundation. Prior to his time in Mexico, he spent 18 months working as a market and technical analyst for VLSI Research, based in Cambridge. In this role he was responsible for producing market research reports and hosting face-to-face meetings with industry leaders in the semiconductor and nanotechnology industries. He graduated with a degree in geography, speaks Spanish and is a keen cricket fan.
Katherine Hayes joined the Investor Relations team at Edison in February 2017. Prior to this,Katherine worked at Deloitte on the Financial Services Compensation Scheme project, in the Initial Enquiries and Data Gathering team. Katherine has gained experience working at Marshall Wace, BP and the British Heart Foundation. Katherine graduated with a Business degree and is a keen runner.
Katie Burridge graduated from Edinburgh University in 2016, where she received a 2:1 in History, achieving a first in her final year and for her dissertation. Previous to her role at Edison, Katie has been working with Fisher Investments in London, running telephone campaigns to potential high net worth clients.
Bill O'Rahilly has worked in the financial markets for over 20 years, primarily covering Asian equities. Most recently he was head of markets at Citi in Ireland, where he headed equities, fixed income and FX reporting to the head of markets, EMEA. Before taking up this role, he was country head of global equities, Ireland. Throughout his career Bill has been responsible for covering leading Asian equity accounts in London and has headed sales for Ireland and Scotland. Prior to joining Citi, he was a senior salesperson and country manager at Credit Lyonnais Securities Asia and also worked at Hoare Govett Asia. Bill has worked in London, Hong Kong and Dublin.

Max Jacobs is Edison’s Head of Healthcare Research in North America, covering over 20 biotech, specialty pharma, diagnostics and medical device companies around the globe. Prior to Edison, Max spent 10 years as a healthcare investor at various long-only and long-short focused investment firms and an additional 5 years running a primary market research team. Max is considered one of the most influential Biotech analysts in the U.S. and a ‘must-follow’ on Twitter @maxjacobsedison
Robert Murphy is a CFA specializing in financial/real estate companies, with 25 years of experience in financial markets. Prior to joining Edison, Rob was a managing director of equity research at HSBC London, where he led the coverage of the major global investment banks. Over the past 25 years, Rob has held analyst and fund manager roles specialising in the global financials sector at GladstonePartners, Merebis Capital, GLG Partners and Gartmore, Rob began his career as aGraduate Trainee at Henderson Global Investors, before joining JPMorganInvestment Management as an analyst covering European Banks and Real Estate.
Dan Ridsdale is the head of Edison’s technology and telecoms team. He has over 16 years’ experience covering the technology and telecoms industries and was formerly a technology analyst for Singer Capital Markets, Teathers, Bridgewell, RW Baird and Nomura. Before this, Dan advised on emerging trends in technology as a market analyst at Ovum, having started his career in the telecommunications software industry.
Ian McLelland moved to Edison after a 20-year international career with BP, where he worked in the refining and petrochemicals sectors in a range of technical and engineering management positions. On returning to BP’s London headquarters, he took up roles advising the group’s executive committees on strategy development, financial planning and performance management. Ian is a qualified chemist and holds an MBA from the University of Edinburgh Business School.
Peter Molloy is one of the original founders of the Edison Group and is CEO of Edison in North America, based in our New York office. Prior to Edison, Peter had a successful career on the buy-side, including a role as senior investment manager at Hermes Investment Management, managing a UK-focused small/mid-cap portfolio, and with a close involvement in Hermes’ shareholder activism initiatives. Peter started his career with Sun Life of Canada Asset Management as an investment analyst.
Fraser Thorne founded Edison in 2003. Before that, he ran Newton Investment Management’s UK smaller company fund - a top decile performer. Fraser has broad experience in equities markets working closely with Edison’s operations in Asia-Pacific, Germany as well as the UK. He holds an MBA, is a member of the CFA and is on the membership committee of the IR Society.
Oliver Haslam has been with Edison for nine years and has global responsibility for relationship management with Edison’s healthcare clients. Before Edison he worked in telecoms, IT services and consulting, at Cable & Wireless then Perot Systems. He started his career as an officer in the British Army and holds a degree in European law.
Simon Bindloss joined Edison from Black Rock, where he worked on the discretionary sales team, selling open- and close-ended funds to multi managers, wealth managers, stockbrokers and family offices. Before moving into asset management, Simon worked within Wealth Management at Barclays Wealth, Credit Suisse and UBS. He studied business and finance at the University of Wales, Cardiff.
